My Reflection

The brilliance that I behold as I look upon You,
Takes me outside of time.
To a place of wonder and enlightenment.
Moving closer to You distresses the luster I see.
How others could learn from this
attempt to grasp a reflection.
But to really hold you, I sit in my heart
And see Your beauty within me.

You keep calling me
I cannot hear You
Yet I do not see You
I cannot touch You
Yet YOU have touched me
Opening myself to You
Penetrated by your embrace
I surrender my soul to You
Worked through to exhaustion
Lovingly taken to ecstasy
I Swell
No one to kiss
No one to hold
The pain of separation
Brings me closer to Your blade
That cuts me deep
Lets me bleed
Ever Lovingly being embraced
I surrender
To allow
To be Severed more
To be Divinely Whole Again
